About
This blog exists to provide information, truth and entertainment to all who care to seek it here. It began as the product of a sole researcher / reporter / teacher and subject to no outside editorial influence. The blog will now begin featuring contributing authors in an effort to better describe the ‘grey areas’ of human life. Each author will bring their own perspective, and an attempt to describe that perspective will be presented here. Frequent topics include: politics, economics, music, and technology but anything is fair game.
UNASTRONAUT: I’ve studied political science, business, journalism, aerospace engineering and secondary education. I’ve taught government and economics. I’ve been trained by the U.S. Army to some extent and I have been design editor for a low-circulation magazine. I’ve debated and done impromptu and extemporaneous speaking at the national level with enough success to satisfy myself. I’ve recorded 6 small-release EPs, 1 iTunes EP, 1 full-length album and 1 live album(for Barefoot Beauties). I retain song lyrics and movie quotes like a sponge, and forget anything with multiple choices.
Having said that, I know that life is not at all about credentials, it’s about sharing every idea and bit of knowledge you possess with as many people as possible. It’s about pushing your own limits. It’s about progress, from marginal to exponential.
I’m very passionate about economics, education, politics, home-brewing beer, recording music and American football. I also get distracted by anything and everything else.

Here’s a couple ideas, maybe not your style, but I happen to like retro, my own self. These are based on 2 Kelly Freas works with a 1950’s Planet N font. They seem to have some resonance to them.
